Summer Fete Weekend

Including the return of the famous Glendoick Beach and the launch of the new outdoor playpark.

The whole family are invitied to join us for a very special weekend as we welcome in summer!  There's lots to do throughout the Garden Centre including celebrating the official opening of our wonderful new playpark by Scotland's deputy first minister, John Swinney MSP on Saturday at 11am.

With tasters for the grown-ups, the return of the famous Glendoick Beach, a fun BBQ, ice-cream van, dress-up characters and so much more we've plenty of fun for all ages.

Here's a quick breakdown of what promises to be a fun-filled, super-tasty weekend:

  • Taste of Scotland – free tastings of food and drink from Scottish suppliers
  • NEW Outdoor Playpark - To be opened Saturday at 11am by John Swinney
  • Bouncy Castle - Active fun for kids of all ages 
  • Glendoick's Indoor Beach - Grab your bucket and spade as the beach returns for summer 2017
  • Mickey Mouse appearance - Look out for Mickey who'll be popping up throughout the weekend
  • Facepainting - What will your little one choose to be?
  • BBQ with local butchers’ sausages - Tasty treats to bring the true flavour summer to our fete
  • Ice Cream Van - Scottish Icecream from a proper musical van
  • Local fresh strawberries – The season is here! Pick up a punnet to take home or enjoy a delicious homemade tart in the café
