How to look after your Scottish Grown Cut Nordman Fir Christmas Tree

Keep your tree outdoors till 10-15th December so it will last through Christmas and New Year without dropping too many needles

The warmer the room, the more water the tree will need and the more it is likely to drop needles.

Avoid placing tree too close to a fire or radiator, as this will cause excessive moisture loss and needle drop.

  • When you get the tree home, saw 2.5cm (1in) off the bottom with a pruning saw
  • Place in a stand with a well of water in the base
  • Check and top up the water when the level drops
  • With care, cut trees should last about four weeks.
